Overnight Saturday/Sunday the ARIES FULL MOON reminds you that the calendar may say it is autumn, but you can still sow some wild oats! But be careful: In Antinous Moon Magic we call this the LIGHTNING MOON for the bolt of lightning which nearly killed Hadrian and Antinous atop Mount Cassius in autumn of the year 129 AD. The LIGHTNING MOON is the most impetuous and accident-prone moon of the year. This weekend things are particularly risky because the Moon is aligned with chaotic Uranus and both are in opposition to the Sun — and all three are at right angles to turbulent Pluto. That means the Sun and Moon are caught up in the Uranus/Pluto power struggle that has been going on all summer. Uranus or Ouranus is the ancient God of the Heavens and Pluto/Hades is the Classical God of the Underworld. And they are now in conflict at right angles to each other. They have been moving into and out of this square aspect for months, and will continue to do so. The result is turmoil on all levels. Earthquakes, political and financial tremors, and even rumblings in your own personal life. The feverish rioting and bloodshed in the Mideast and the equally turbulent turmoil on global financial and economic markets are expressions of the clash of these two Gods. This weekend is the beginning of the This is the SACRED NIGHTS PATHWAY which will lead you through this celestial chaos over the next six weeks.

On Monday the work week gets off to a self-assertive start when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is opposite Mercury and in a nice trine to Venus. You feel you can do and say anything (Moon/Mercury) but still manage to get along well with co-workers (Moon/Venus).
TUESDAY October 2nd 2012
On Tuesday the pace slows down and perseverance is the byword when ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD is in a tense aspect to Saturn but in positive aspects to Neptune and Pluto. These aspects are good for getting serious business done.
WEDNESDAY October 3rd 2012
On Wednesday we come to Station Two of the SACRED NIGHTS PATHWAY when Venus leaves me-firsty Leo to enter others-oriented Virgo. For the next six weeks, the emphasis in interpersonal relationships will be on caring and sharing, on taking care of health and seeing that other people don't get the short end of the stick, even if it means you have to put your own needs on the back burner.

On Thursday Jupiter does a turnaround and goes Retrograde (backwards as seen from Earth) for the next six month, ushering in half a year of introspection and review. The downside is that you may feel you are spinning your wheels much of the time. But the good news is that Jupiter extends its stay in upbeat and idea-filled Gemini for four months — so that reviewing old ideas helps you come up with great new ideas during this Retrograde Jupiter phase.

On Friday one of the biggest changes of the year occurs when Mercury and Saturn align in conjunction and then march hand-in-hand into incisive Scorpio. Saturn has been in laid-back Libra for the past two years, and will spend the next two-and-a-half years in Scorpio, where persistent Saturn will dig out every dark secret and every dark lesson that may be hiding somewhere deep down inside. This is going to be electrifying for the US presidential election (just for starters) and you can expect some shocking revelation to change the course of the election. From now through 2015, you can expect some unpleasant and very hard lessons both globally and in our own personal lives.

On Saturday you lean back and take it easy because nothing much will happen today. That's because ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD goes VOID OF COURSE for more than 24 hours straight in the Americas and Europe! Think of ANTINOUS THE MOON GOD as your favorite rock or pop star giving a concert. The VOC MOON is the break between sets. The singer goes back stage for a costume change and psychs themselves up for the next set. Meanwhile, the audience is waiting impatiently out front while video projections and doo-wah girls fill the interlude. That's what a VOID OF COURSE MOON feels like. Nothing much will happen during this VOC period. Nothing very bad will happen. But nothing very good either.

On Sunday it's adventure time when adventurous Mars enters jovial Sagittarius for the next six weeks. This is a restless period of high-minded spiritual expansion, learning and travel — astral travel as well as earthly travel.
